"Thanks Alfred!" Steph said, beaming up at the man as he set down the mugs of hot chocolate in front of them ( ... )

So, so. This was awesome. The Flock working together to save the day and Jason chomping at the bit to go out on his own. And Steph wanting to join him! Then you had Tim being his awesome little hacker self. And you had Bruce hug his children!!! (With an added hug between Jason and Steph!)

My only complaint is that it's too short, but then again, you're also writing Batman and the Flock so I can't really complain. Still, a world without adults. I have to wonder how long it took the kids to get the adults back. Was it really only a few hours? And who did it? How widespread was it?

Oh dear. You didn't see the new episode? That's when this takes place. I should have posted spoiler warnings... *facepalms*

Well, that would explain it. I'm kind of out of the loop on that front. I'll go watch it and fill in the blanks, then.

Haha. And don't worry about the spoilers. I'm always spoiled for everything.

Okay, just watched the episode. (It was awesome!) And I love how you included the Flock in Misplaced. That was awesome. I love that scenario of a world without adults/children and it was so interesting to see that the adult version was a lot more chaotic than the child version.

While I was watching the episode, Dick said that he couldn't reach the Batcave, and my brain went, "But what about Jason, Steph, and Tim? Oh right. Not canon. (Yet.)"

So yes, once Stephanie comes into the picture and we have a better grip of the timeframe, we shall rewrite every episode of YJ to include the Flock. Yes.

So...about adopting Zatanna...

Funny story, that. As I was watching the end of Misplaced all I could think of was Dick begging Bruce to let her stay and arguing that she could be a positive female role model for Steph.

Also, I need to get a good YJ timeline so I can figure out how much I need to readjust canon to make everything fit together. But yes. YJ + the Flock would be magnificent.

I think Black Canary should offer to take her in. I think she lives in Gotham as well, so she can join Dick, Artemis (and Barbara and Bette) at their school.

And since in my headcanon Red Arrow (Roy) occasionally crashes at her place (you live there Roy, stop denying it.....and Dinah won't accept your rent money) Zatanna can get a new big brother as well.

Yep, Zatanna adoption should definitely happen.

And yes, if the YJ Timeline isn't included in the Canon, someone definitely should write that. But the question would be, would it be them in the background, running a commentary on the Team's adventures, or will Batman let them meet the Team?

Because either one would be brilliant.

Strays canon intertwines closely with at least the beginning of the YJ timeline, mostly because it is a catalyst for a lot of things that happen. There will also be some alteration of the events of YJ due to this.

As for when Batman lets the Flock meet the team, well, he ends up not having a lot of choice in the matter. (Wally knows, Conner...finds out and I still haven't decided when the kids will officially meet the Team.)

But honestly, it would definitely be fun to write not strictly Strays canon versions of the Team's adventures.

And... here come the plot bunnies. *sighs*

I kind of imagine the Flock sticking to the background for a while, hacking Cave Security and watching what's going on/running a commentary about relationships, fighting styles, and how weird it is that Captain Marvel's still hanging around.

I can totally see this happening, and that's amazing. Jason's such a strong positive force while staying true to his character. You do a really, really great job with characterization. <3

Also, I can totally see Steph hacking LexCorp for the heck of it! XD

You're back!!! I'm glad you liked this little piece.

Yes, Luthor comes back from his dimension, only to find that the company's logo is now pink. Or something. I don't really know what Steph did.
