I'm sorry. I feel like crap. I'm really tired, exhausted... It's making me really sad. Like, I want to crawl into a puddle and die, sad... Could I get something really fluffy and cavity-inducingly sweet? Preferably gen, but...

Please?

I need this too. I'm so sick I can barely keep my head up, but can't sleep. I need something to make me feel better.

“Guys,” Wally moaned as he trudged up the ramp into the Bioship, staring at the empty compartment in his costume where his backup food was supposed to be. “Guys, I don’t know if I’m gonna make it ( ... )

Kaldur did not understand the surface phrase. Fortunately for him, neither did Conner, so neither of them could be declared the loser as Wally zipped into the room with a finger on his nose, still chewing on whatever it was he’d grabbed from the pantry ( ... )

M’gann was right - there was a man in the kitchen, mostly bald, with a fastidiously groomed moustache and a dignified black apron tied over his crisp grey suit. He looked up when the young heroes came in, a subdued but genuine smile lighting his face as he gave the team a small, respectful nod of his head. On the long kitchen table was a veritable feast, innumerable dishes of steaming hot food completely obscuring the tabletop, and the smell of it filled the room. The table was set for six ( ... )

“Oh, you can’t do the washing up too!” M’gann exclaimed, mortified at their rudeness, but Alfred waggled a finger at her and she sat back down with a guilty look ( ... )

Not OP.

Alfreeeeed! You brought in Alfreeeeed!!!

Even if they didn't get to eat his cookies!

I don't even know why they have medicine. A good daily dose of fluff like this works better than any medicine ever would! Or at least it did in my case. I don't feel like keeling over anymore!

I can so see him telling Robin to please remove his elbows from the table! And Robin actually says that this random old guy is cooler than he is! Everyone's minds have been boggled.

Who is Alfie taking those cookies to now? Batman? Or Roy? :D

Dear narnia_in_space. I love you~!

Alfred is totally eating those cookies himself. Although I suppose he could share. He is, after all, polite to a fault.

I love you too~! And I'm glad you're feeling better. ♥

I think I'm a little bit in love with you. This is adorable in every sense of the word. And Alfred. You included Alfred. <3

OP here. I'd slinked off the face of the interwebs, but I'm back now that exams and Christmas are over. Thank you so much for this wonderful, beautiful, warm gooey, goodness-filled fic.

I'm discovering it at a rather opportune time, as I'm currently down with a cold. Excellent chicken-soup for the tired soul.

Many hugs, and best wishes for the new year.
