Same thing happens, where everyone in the Justice League and Young Justice team is trapped in an inescapable nightmare, including Batman. Robin is the only one who manages to stay awake, and continues to fight his exhaustion while going into his friends' nightmares and pulling them out of it. Lastly, he goes into Batman's head, where eight-year-old Bruce Wayne is watching his parents' murder over and over again. He manages to coax Bats out of his nightmare, and it's only after the bad guy is defeated that he finally allows himself to fall asleep. Batman carries him home.
Gen focus please, but I wouldn't say no to some Robin/Kid Flash.

By then, everyone else in the room is struggling to keep their eyes open. M’gann and her uncle are almost out of their seats before falling back down, their eyes falling shut.
Kaldur has an order halfway out of his mouth. “Nobody-” But he falls against the floor next to the Flash before he has a chance to finish his sentence.
Robin is halfway slumped against the wall, desperately doing his best to keep his eyes open. Stay awake. Have to stay awake. The sudden wave of exhaustion ( ... )

There are cobwebs stretching over several corners and dust covers stacks of boxes behind him. In front of him, everything is alight with fire.
Robin hesitates for a moment before he does anything else. He’s used to weird situations, but how on earth did he end up in a warehouse (a warehouse on fire, at that) after he touched M’gann?
A scream cuts through the smoke and it doesn’t matter anymore because that's M’gann and M’gann is afraid of fireHe starts running ( ... )

She’s having a nightmare, Robin realizes. And I’m in the middle of it.
“M’gann!” he shouts. She looks up at him immediately, the tear streaks shining on her face. He runs over to her and she stares at him, her mouth dropping open a little.
“What are you d-”
“This isn’t real,” Robin says as quickly as he can. “None of it is real. It’s just a-”
“Simulation,” M’gann finishes, still looking shocked to find him standing in front of her. “I know, and I could’ve made it real when Artemis died. We almost didn’t wake up because of me. And this,” M’gann stops and looks out at the burning mothership. “This, all of this. Artemis and Kaldur and Conner ( ... )

The Joker’s knife is up against his throat and Robin stops struggling. “What’s wrong, birdie?” The Joker laughs and Robin feels the knife dig a little deeper-
M’gann catches him before he falls against the floor.
“Are you alright?” she asks, concerned, as he straightens.
“Yeah,” he mumbles before yawning. “Yeah, just a little tired.”
“I felt that way too,” M’gann nods. “And the next thing I knew everything was on fire and-”
“You were having a nightmare. The fire in the warehouse wasn’t real. You relived the simulation too, but it was only a nightmare.”
M’gann turns her head, confused for a moment but then her eyes widen. “Hello, Megan!” And Robin smiles because it’s been a long, depressing week since he’s heard her say that. “You used my powers to come into my dream ( ... )

I think gen is the best approach to take here anyway. Spitfire rarely works out in Robin-centric stories, and this plotline is just not right for a Robin-pairing. Superboy/M'gann might be the only thing you could work in, if you wanted, but I was hoping it would be gen anyway, so yay!
Can't wait for more!

He can’t see anything around him except sand and water. No Kaldur. No monsters. Nothing.
Where is he? The thought barely passes through his brain before a figure walks out of an incoming wave. Aquaman comes out of the water and onto shore without stopping for a moment. Robin pauses to wonder if Aquaman ever really does that, just walks out of waves like it’s no big deal. After a second, Kaldur walks out too and rushes across the sand to catch up with his mentor ( ... )
