"...Is that a dragon?" "Asterous!!!" anonymous October 25 2011, 23:07:16 UTC
So this is yet another Harry Potter crossover, except this time the team goes in Harry's forth year to be bodyguards for the Triwizard Cup. They're from a school of "alternative magic" and have to pretend to actually compete so they aren't caught. I mean, can't you just imagine Robin flipping around the dragon, Aqualad doing the second task in either 3 minutes of like an hour because he was so busy talking to the merpeople? Kid Flash completing the maze in record time? I'd like this to be Robin/Kid Flash, but gen is fine too ( ... )

OOOH. Just want to confirm some things: no one knows they're bodyguards, right? Do you want them to be 'exchange students' who get Sorted, or do they get a tower of their own somewhere? So they actually compete - wouldn't it be suspicious for them to use their skills?

I might write this! :)

Yeah, it's a secret that they're bodyguards. I was thinking that since they're undercover, and are pretending to go to a school for "alternative magic", that they'd be able to stay on M'gann's bioship or use a hidden zetabeam to go home. Kind of like the other two schools that stay on the ship and carriage. I figured since all the schools are really secretive, that they can say that they can't tell where they go to sleep and stuff. Of course, if a filler wants them to be sorted they can go ahead and do that:) It might be suspicious for them to use their powers, but since their powers are called “alternative”, they could just say Dumbledore wanted the students to see new types of magic. Besides, M’gann could probably pretend pretty well, she could be using wandless magic of something. Arty and Rob could pretend that their tools are magic or that they’re sealed or a secret or something. Pretty much potential fillers have free reign, they can give any explanation. I hope you do fill this! I was so excited to see that someone commented ( ... )

Oh god why do I keep falling for HP x YJ prompts. ; n; I still need to finish the other one and I saw someone had tentatively claimed this one, but I couldn't help myself. Hope no one minds multiple fills, and anyone else who wants to fill this, feel free to do so.

I'll probably write this as only going over the main events and the Tasks, anyway, not a full fic.“So are they changing it or not ( ... )

The roar of fire against paper filled the room, the goblet’s flames turning a bright red. A burnt piece of paper shot into the air, propelled by a single lick of flames and several sparks. Soundless gasps and murmurs of excitement ran through the room like a wave, but everything fell quiet once more when Headmaster Dumbledore caught the piece of what Dick made out to be parchment ( ... )

They were the only ‘school’ left, and it was obvious why the students were curious. Both Durmstrang and Beaxbatons had brought only their older students, and while they weren’t many, they certainly weren’t as small in number as their own group. Each had at least a dozen of students, while their team were a mere six people, half of which didn’t look old enough to compete. If they had had to follow the age rule, only Megan would have been able to participate, seeing as the second-oldest was Kaldur, at sixteen, and his birthday was still a couple of weeks away ( ... )

“Hey,” he greeted the other three champions, completely unimpressed by their silent silhouetted against the fire. Instead of addressing their weirded-out looks, though, he examined the room around him, waving at the staring portraits and taking notice of any emergency exits. There weren’t any other than the door he’d just come from, and they probably wouldn’t be needed, but you could never really forget Batman’s training ( ... )

Okay, I'll admit right off the bat that I didn't even read the fill yet, but I need to express how much joy I'm feeling right now from just reading the title.

No, Robin does make the most sense here. Skills, intellect, physical ability... if you're going to consider everything, he's the most rounded member of the team.

I for one am incredibly glad for this fill. It's the second HP crossover fill I've seen here, and while your other HP crossover is marvelous, Superboy is admittedly not my favorite character. Robin, on the other hand, is. So yay!

Will you include the Robin/KF part of the prompt too? Because then I might just have to declare some form of undying internet love to you.

I love Robin here. Hmm. They're not going to call him Robin here, are they? Sad. I love the title Robin. Your version of Robin and his Pentawizard Tournament made my day. It really, really did.

Can't wait for more!
