Robin wears a constant binder around his torso, and the team get suspicious. The first response is generally "Oh my god, is he a FTM? He has to be a girl!", until something happens that is up to anon, and the gauze-binder is removed, revealing wings.
Like, actual wings.
On Robin.
It can be training shirtless and alone, or being captured and having it sliced off, or his uniform being slashed during a battle.
Pretty please?
Bonus: I love KF/Rob and Superboy/Robin, but gen is fine.. Actually, anything is fine.
Bonus x2: His wings are actually big enough for him to fly.
Bonus x3: They either
- Were from a science experiment
- Grew on his body when puberty started
- You know what, just ignore me. Anything is amazing.

All my life,
I've had to ask why,
Why so many people,
Reach for the sky.
Just reaching.
Why does everyone teach,
That it's best just to settle,
That it's best just to reach?
Life has been hard.
I've been surrounded by death.
But I've convinced myself,
It's not over yet.
I've been damaged,
Battered and bruised,
But though I am broken,
I refuse to be used.
All my life,
I've rejected the lie,
That I'm stuck on the ground,
That I can't scrape the sky.It hurt ( ... )

I've wondered why,
I was saved that day,
By an angel from the sky.
He flew like the wind,
Bringing birds to envy,
Graceful as a butterfly,
He looked down and smiled at me.
I was in awe,
Watching him swerve through the wind,
He was so wonderful,
I felt a glow within.
A warm light,
A fire in my heart,
Seeing him in the sky,
Gave me the courage to try to join him in the stars.
All my life,
It's brought joy to my eyes,
To remember that angel,
Scraping the sky.
He dreamed of it, occasionally. That night that inspired him on a daily basis to do his best, and to help people without hesitation. The night that told him he wouldn't ever have to fear the darkness, because there was always beauty and goodness hidden in the shadows. The dream always followed his memory, again and again, repeating itself in sequence.
It was night, and his father was drinking heavily. His mother 'advised' him to take a walk, which he did, wandering alone through the cold streets. He was scared, he was lonely, but it was better than staying at ( ... )

I forgot to mention this before. I'm assuming the songs (poems?) at the beginning of each segment is your original creation. They're great. I liked the first one better, but they both compliment their respective parts so well. The fills would be empty without them.

And yeah, the poems are original. ^^ I'm glad you like them. Each section will start with one *nod*
