So my head cannon is Cheshire is NOT Artemis's mom but either her full or half sister. (Twin or older) Who happened to not get recessive blonde genes. So... Lian comes along and Artemis somehow finds out. (Cheshire tells her, she runs into Roy and Lian, her mom tells her dad tells her, or she has to babysit.) Cue hanging out and Artemis flinching at being "Aunt Artie." Bonus points if whoever she's dating keeps getting unintentional interference by Lian. Artemis/Roy for maximum awkwardness.

(Spoilers) The latest issue of the YJ tie-in comic implied that they were half-sisters to me. o3o Paula mentioned losing a daughter to an unknown fate, and in Artemis' room there's an empty bed with the poster of the Cheshire Cat beside it >3>

Either way, I had a prompt almost exactly like this in my head, specifically "aunt Artie", so seconded! 8D

Have you read YJ comic 7? I noticed that Artie's bedroom has 2 beds and her mom mentions coming back to having lost one daughter. Perhaps your head cannon is on target?
