I woke up for work and while still in bed I could hear McCain on the television in the other room. And in my half-asleep trying-to-be-awake stupor I started to feel the tone of his speech. Wait. What? Really? Could it be? It is. It is a concession speech

That speech sounded so presidential. There is no better word for it. I was so moved.

Wait... which one are you referring to? I assume you mean Obama's speech, but McCain's was the most gracious concession speech that I can remember. Very respectful. And the only word I could think of for Obama's was refreshing. So refreshing to listen to a well-spoken, intelligent, confident speaker.

i really liked both of their speeches.

i didn't realize until he won how excited i am that he DID win. I really feel like america has taken a big leap towards progress and it makes me exceedingly happy.
