John's alarm didn't go off, but he is so used to getting up early in the morning, he is already awake. Erica feels...thick, and she rolls from her side to her back, hair a wild mess around her head as she stretches out before looking up at him, blinking sleepily.

"Huh?" she asks in all of her foggy coherency.

"It feels good though, doesn't it? Knowing that wherever we are, we find each other eventually. Somehow...that makes a lot of things okay."

"Yeah, it does. I can't think of anything better." He leans on one elbow and strokes her hair again.

"Even when whatever powers that are, screw up and put us on different worlds, we end up together."

"What other lives do you think we've had?" she wonders, scooting back into the bed so that she can lay on her pillow again.

"I just...wonder what else we've done. What else we've seen for as long as we've been finding each other."

He lies back,and crosses his arms behind his head, and smiles at her.

"Maybe between lives we get to remember them all."

"You think we have an Ovenbun in every life? We did when we were from California," she smiles, stroking her covered belly.

"Kinda makes sense to me that that much love will find a way to be made visible." He puts his hand on her belly.

"She's really moving around this morning."

Taking his hand, she guides it, not sure if he can feel it yet, but taking him there anyway.

"I think they got married a lot faster than we did. Weeks after meeting instead of months. He must be a smooth talker," she says with a little chuckle.
