Cow-orker A (reading the newspaper): Listen to this - according to this poll, more people would rather be unemployed than 75 pounds overweight.

Cow-orker B: What?!

A: What kind of choice is that? Stupid polls *grumblemumble*

B: Yeah, who wants to be 75lbs overweight?!

Let's say that right now I had a job and was at my ideal weight. If I suddenly became either unemployed or +75 lbs, it would take me less time to find a new job than to lose 75 lbs. And probably less effort.

If the question was that I would be made *permanently* either unemployed or +75 lbs, I'd definitely go for unemployed and then start my own business -- but I want to do that anyway, so that's not really fair for me to say. +75 I'd be in real danger of diabetes & heart attack, given my family history. So I guess I am with the majority in the poll.
