I am utterly fascinated how we both see and hear the same thing but as two rational and intelligent adults come to different conclusions.
I won't go into mine just because we've tried to have that discussion to no end and the only gain to be had there would if we did it over some coffee or foamy adult beverages.
Have you seen the Salon piece on the original interview? I love the more positive take on the topic of Stewart using his status as a comedian as a dodge when people attempt to engage him seriously. They make a good point in that he's uniquely qualified to be more simply because he is more interested in honest discussion than absurd partisan bickering.
