I'm the same. Usually, I choose an anime based on whether or not there is homosexual subtext. And of course, the attractiveness of the (male) characters. I'm really very shallow that way.

Yeaaah I know, they cut out so much of the gay between those two for the anime. In the game, Yosuke kept calling Yuu 'partner' and he had lines like, "You're very good with your hands, partner." Also the game kept it much more ambiguous how much Yosuke liked Saki and to what extent (not like in the anime, where he straight out says he loved her). His homophobia also seems a lot more suspicious.

I ship Chie/Yukiko. Also Chie/Yosuke. That's the new ship they're teasing in the anime that wasn't really hinted at much in the game. They're really teasing Chie/Yosuke, and it's so cute.
