WE JUST WON 50 LBS OF CHOCOLATE CHIPS! OMG!

I had a bad day so I wanted Insomnia cookies, and we were the 5,000th order! They called and said we won chocolate chips and Alisha thought it was 5 lbs...but they came with a GIANT BOX of 50 lbs!!! Woah!

Yup. So after I fail my test in three hours, I can come home and eat 5 lbs of chocolate before I pull an all-nighter writing a 10 page paper I haven't started yet. =) Yay!

Any ideas for what we should do with it? We're completely stumped. I don't think it's possible to eat that much chocolate.

you should make cookies and brownies and either hand them out or sell them as "a final's week treat"

That is INSANE! There are only so many chocolate chip cookies one can make. Maybe you can feed the homeless?

BTW, what is that phallic object in the box? Biscotti?

It's a chunk of chocolate chips that melted and then hardened again. =P

We can't even make cookies because we have no eggs! Alisha asked Metafilter if anyone had any ideas for what we could do, but no one has really come up with anything good yet. They just keep saying bake sale or cooking stuff or feeding the homeless. I don't think feeding the homeless 50 lbs of chocolate chips is a good idea, though. Dan said we should make a few cookies and then have a giant trail of chocolate chips on campus that leads to the plate of cookies and a sign for Insomnia Cookies. =) It's weird, though, because it's not like we can just throw them away or anything. I have no clue...another idea was to make bags and give them to different organizations so they could have bake sales and raise money. *shrugs*

Want 10 lbs of chocolate chips? =)

I don't think feeding the homeless 50 lbs of chocolate chips is a good idea, though.

Oh come on! Lots of homeless people on a massive sugar-high would be good times!
