Optimistic Literature Class

We're sitting in literature class today, talking about Franz Kafka's The Trial, and as usual we got off topic and started talking about how optimistic our course has been s far. And I asked how the hell did they happen to think this course is in any way optimistic. We're reading six novels in this course, and none of them is too optimistic

Yeah that's what I was thinking.... Cracked everyone up when I counted the six "optimistic heroes" in class though
