Sitting collapsed at the side of the room appears to be a corpse of sorts, rotting and decaying and stinking to high-heaven. While that in itself would normally attract attention though, there seems to be something else...
Something on TOP of the corpse, pecking away at the eye sockets until it successfully snatches itself an eyeball.
