I hope I'm doing resurrection right.

[Brunch has had, shall we say, better days.

He doesn't remember what he's been up to for the past week - which happens to include dying, so when he wakes up somewhere he's never seen before, and with a feeling of weird iffiness too (his head's a little tender, his hand's a little stiff, and worst of all, his back aches) he has to fight back panic. Not again. At least during vampire week he could piece together a narrative. Like this, he's got nothing.

One look around (it's the heart-shaped chocolates that unsettle him the most about the place) and he's tearing out of there, having noticed that something is missing. But he never goes anywhere without it- oh gods, what did the place do to him, what has he been doing - maybe it's still in his room....

A quick visit to said room dispels even that faint hope.]

Oh, gods......No.....no....

[The door slams behind him and he barely remembers to lock it. Calm down, he tells himself. Think.

But the Rod is gone. So Brunch will not rest until he's scoured every corner of the DR looking for it, visiting familiar haunts, searching every store....accosting everyone.

He's still trying to keep it together; losing his cool in addition to his Item will only sink him in deeper trouble. Three guesses how well that's going, however.]
