Brutality is actually one of my favorite things in a beta. I don't want someone to just kinda dance around any issues with me- I want good input that can help me out.
As for what I'm looking for, I would like someone who will help me with characterization and flow. I'd also like someone who isn't afraid to help me brainstorm through tough patches in writing, and get on my ass to make me finish things.
I DO already have someone I hunted down to beta for me, but I would LOVE to have multiple people for insight, so if you're really interested I would love to continue talking with you. Even if you don't all-out beta for me, maybe you'd be good for bouncing ideas off of.
