Sabertooth had, up until then, been engaged in a game of chase-the-sock with Kenzan. However, when she heard the door open, she lose interest in the game and trotted over to see what was going on. Her emerald eyes fixed on the tin, and she rose on her hind legs and pawed at the air, meowing shrilly and making it clear that she thought she did need whatever was in that can.
"Spoiled cat," Siegfried heard Ryuuzaki mutter. Yet Ryuuzaki still went into the kitchen to deal with the tin. He returned moments later and set the caviar on the floor. Then he turned to give Siegfried his best glare. "If she stops eating cat food because of this, I'll get Dartz to switch us and then shave your head."
Somehow, Siegfried's driver was able to keep from laughing for the entire drive back to the house. Siegfried didn't know how the man managed it, but a bonus was definitely in store for him for his self-control.
When Siegfried left the car and went inside, he went straight to Yakou's studio, guessing that he might find his lover there. Since there was no denying that Yakou would see Ryuuzaki's art on him, Siegfried wanted to get it over with right away.
Yakou was busy at his work table, his attention caught up in working with a number of blocks of colored wax, which he seemed intent on cutting or carving into various shapes. He'd wanted the chance to branch out to other forms besides painting, and so he'd stocked his studio with enough materials to open a reasonably-sized crafts store. He loved having such complete creative freedom, and could spend hours in complete happiness.
As he heard the door open, he looked up to see who was interrupting him. His first reaction upon seeing Siegfried was confusion. Then he began to guess something of what must have happened, and had to fight back a smile.
"Hello," he said. "It looks like you've had... an interesting afternoon."
"I believe I might need some assistance," Siegfried responded calmly. He slowly started unbuttoning his shirt to show Yakou the rest of Ryuuzaki's handiwork.

Sabertooth, meanwhile, dove for the plate and began attacking it with gusto, purring noisily.

"Oh, dear," he murmured. "How did you let that happen?"
