An important part of my American odyssey is my persistent search for soft drinks. Any semi-regular reader of this blog should probably know that already. The US is the motherlode of carbonated beverages and sweetened sodas, so it shall come as no surprise that I've been consuming a wide variety of these drinks in the past few weeks.

Well, there was this store in Haifa, but it closed. Someone mentioned that he can get some, and someone else told me that you can get it atBar-Ilan Uni (?). Never heard about it since.

So at first you toss a nonchalant "Oh, yeah, you can get some in Israel too", then backtrack and squirm and try to weasel your way out of it with a "I know someone who said they were once told there was a store who sold it, but they closed".
For shame, Amir. For shame.
