the rainbow foot

I've been limping around for the last couple of days, having sprained the pinky toe on my left foot at Gymboree on Wednesday. Entirely my fault, really - I was wearing socks (as per the gym's hygiene policy) and trying to step up and down a wooden piece of equipment with Bao, not accounting for how slippery it would be with socks on. Wow, that looks painful :(
I broke my toe once, the 4th one, by walking into the base of the shower stall at night at full speed (now we have a nightlight in the bathroom to prevent that from happening again). It just hurt in the morning, but by the time I got home from work that day, my entire foot was purple. It was definitely broken, but it's not like a doctor can do anything for that other than tape the toe to the one next to it to hold it stable. And you can do that yourself too.

Ouch, I can commiserate with your broken toe. I don't think mine is broken, and I'm not really limping that much anymore, so hopefully it continues to improve, but the tip on taping the toe is very useful. Knowing how klutzy I am, it will come in useful one day, I'm sure.

That looks bad! Hope it gets better soon! Not sure if it helps (and you have it there) but Zambak helps with the bruising...

Thanks! I have some Hirudoid that I brought from Singapore, think that will work too. The bruising is improving, though.
