birthday treats and eats

My birthday worked out fine in the end. It was pretty low-key, which was what I wanted, and I got to eat a lot of yummy food, which is also what I wanted. I also woke up early to get a headstart on the laundry (in our household, if you don't keep an eye on the laundry pile it turns into a bogey and eats you alive), which is not quite what I wanted ( Read more... )

That sounds like a yummy birthday dinner. :) I am pretty stingy when it comes to spending money for expensive restaurants, but I like the idea of the chef bringing out different treats he selected.

I don't always splash out on expensive restaurants, but I think good Japanese food is worth paying for. This was a really memorable meal!
