I've created a new tag called 'the late night diaries' because that's when I spend time writing most of my blog entries these days. Having a hand free and an iPhone by my side while nursing or pumping helps keep me going at 4 in the morning. We all find ways of coping. When The Bun is larger I may not be able to do this so easily, though,

Yeah, I try not to read too many mommyblogs. It's nice to share stories, but sometimes it just makes us feel bad about ourselves.

I think that our parents' generation didn't have enough information on how to deal with a newborn or cope with the stresses this time brings. On our end, we have TOO MUCH information, and that has its own problems, too.

Thank you! For both the nice compliment on The Bun's looks (heh, I think he's handsome too) and for your comment. Writing does help very much, even at 4am in the morning. I think new moms need to learn that they need to let themselves relax, and understand that doing their best is fine enough... no need to compete and compare with other moms...
