That smile was as bright as the sun which blinded him on the spot. It made him pause, stop in everything he was doing. It will be silly if he’ll say that he was mesmerized by his aura, but it’s true, he can’t deny it. Like the flower he likes so much “Coreopsis Arkansa” which means “Love at first sight”. It was a love at first sight.
“Takaki-san~ “the smaller once jumped his way in front of him. “Good Morning!” Daiki beamed his cute and bright smile at the older, making the latter drop the bottle he was holding with his mouth a little bit open. “Takaki-san, are you alright?” the younger asked as he picked the bottle that was dropped earlier.
“Hey~ you’re spacing out!”
“Ahh, yeah, sorry…” Yuya took the bottle from the younger and went his way to their rehearsal room.
Yes, that was the first time he saw that stunning smile up close. He was sure that he saw that many times when they are performing, but that smile was different. He didn’t know why but his heart skipped a beat. “What the hell?” He said while clutching his shirt. “Stop beating so fast…”
“Ahahahah Dai-chan stop that!!!” a loud laugh pulled him back to the reality that he was with his band members in their rehearsal room. “No really stop that!!” Yamada said while holding his stomach “It hurts!” while laughing hard and rolling on the floor.
“No! I’m doing this skit! It’s called the penguin dance!” Daiki blurted out, posing like a penguin was hopping back and forth which made the other Hey! Say! Seven members laugh their hearts out. While doing that skit, smile never left his chubby face. “Look! Takaki-san! It’s great right? My dance!” Daiki turned and hopped his way to the latter. Again, Takaki Yuya was mesmerized.
It wasn’t also the first time he saw that little chubby penguin do silly things, but it was the first time Daiki did it up close, really close to him. “Damn!” He said to himself as he stood abruptly making the smaller guy stumble on his feet.
“Hey~!!!!” Daiki groaned as he rubbed his now hurting butt. “What was that?!” he pouted. And it was too cute for Yuya to handle.
“So-sorry…” Yuya dashed out from the rehearsal room and made his way to the comfort room. “What the hell is wrong with me?! We’ve been together for years…It’s not unusual if he’s being silly or anything right?!” He asked himself who was facing the mirror. “And you! “ He touched his chest. “Stop beating so fast!” He looked at the mirror for a few minutes as his eyes widened when someone poked him from his back. “Y-you!” Yuya was shocked to find the guy he was thinking not long ago was actually in front of him with a worried look plastered on his cute face. “Wh-what are you doing here?!” he asked.
“W-well, you were pale earlier in the rehearsal room and you suddenly dashed out so I thought you’re not feeling well that is why I followed you here” Daiki explained pouting his lips a bit which made Yuya bit his lower lip. Being born this cute is just so unfair! Yuya thought to himself as he closed his eyes and composed himself.
“Takaki-san?” Daiki poked Yuya’s cheeks and was caught off guard by the older. “H-hey…let go…” he protested. His eyes widened as the older pulled him into an embrace.
“You’re too unfair to be this cute you know…” Yuya whispered to the latter. “Do you know how many heart attacks you gave me today?” He grinned as he let go of his embrace to the smaller one. “You killed me trice, so I won’t hold back anymore…” and his lips landed on the latter’s soft ones. “And don’t pout like that…” he said as he touched the younger’s lips when he broke the kiss.
“B-ba-bakaki…” Daiki mumbled as he lowered his face to hide his now super red face. “Th-that was my first kiss…”
“And I fell for you at the first sight…” Yuya grinned again as he leaned down and kissed the younger, this time a little bit longer was longer. “Be my flower Arioka Daiki…”
