omg. Okay to start off... I almost NEVER read NEWS fic. But the title was irresistible and then omg, ZOMBIES. ♥♥♥

I loved the whole progression and all the characters. |D Shige gets extra hearts from me, I thought he was awesome! Everything was so nicely... zombified and everything. Idk. I loved it. ♥ The ending was so perfectly done and sensible and wheeeeeeeeeeeee~! ♥

Thank you, thank you, thank you~~~~

Holy crap this is fantastic.

I love a good post apocolyptic AU and you do it like a genius. I love that the 8Uppers keep eight in their name despite being seven, like they're remembering a fallen member and Ryo is the link between them. And News really is from everywhere.

You did the flash backs to everyone's backgrounds so well and I can't help but think that Shige was so lucky because he survived on holy water and spent his days reading religous texts (I'm not religious, I just like the idea that he did good pius things and so good was done by him).

It was fantastic and I loved it. ♥
Thank you for posting :D

This. Mello. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Damn but I love a good zombie apocalypse story. It was such a well-developed little world, too. *happy sigh*

But, really, he's just afraid of the dark, now that there really are monsters out there that want to eat him.
Oh my god. This line. My favorite in the whole thing.

He buried them in the backyard, marked their graves simply, and then left his childhood home behind, walking and walking and walking until he found that bus and made it his new home and filled it with a new family.
Argh. Heartbreaking.

Koyama scoffs. "You really think we're so stupid that we'd fall for that? Where are your comrades? Are they coming from behind?"
Much like this. The idea of Koyama ending up being like this hurts. :(

"What are you doing?" Shige snaps, and Koyama replies, "I'm not letting either of you fall behind."

Massu trembles at those words and thinks about how he'd always been better at sprints.
*wibbles*

He sees his nephews in all of themI may have teared up. A lot. I loved the ending ( ... )

WOOOOW. that was awesome....

How you write about the apocalypse is good.
All the individual story about the characters are a good companion to build the story as well!

AAAH. I love this. i usually hate zombies but really, NEWS and the way you write made me love it!

Thanks for sharing!<3
