Well, having cranked out roughs for pages 19-32 today, I am now finished with the initial roughing! I've the whole issue stacked on my drawing table, and it's fun to think about it taking shape on the pages, finally. And I'm ahead of schedule! I gave myself until Tuesday to finish this task. So I'm going to take the extra couple days to read it

Can you use a font that looks like handwriting? Or create one from your own handwriting so you don't have to stress out about consistency?

I read your story as more of a look at a couple of specific people and how they interact with each other and with their technology. Personally I think "We are doing this thing we haven't tried before" counts as plot, but I guess there could have been more about who these people were and how their sex fits into a larger story. I'd like to read that article the editor sent you, to see what she was getting at (and to increase my porn-knowledge).

Have you read any Xxxenophile? Phil Foglio is really good at writing stand-alone sex that feels like a sex scene in a book.

I vote lowercase on the font, though I think it depends on the style of your comic. I find lowercase a lot easier to read because the words have shapes instead of being BLOCKS OF LETTERS LIKE THIS. That said, uppercase doesn't bother me too much, and it can be appropriate for some things. It certainly feels more comic-esque
