Eh, that crossover wouldn't work anyway. Altair would stand out in modern day NY. Plus, he'd get gunned down by NYPD.

What you need to do is put some googly eyes on the jewel case and have it looking at you. It may prompt you to throw it across the room, thus getting it away from you.
