Lol, I still kind of want to write a cheat ending where they get to magically keep the kids and everything. We can just have a bunch of random happy endings people can pick from like a choose your own ending at the end of the fic. XD

I know. But keeping the kids would have meant death or divorce, and neither really seemed ideal for a less angsty fic. ;P I suppose you could go down one (or both) of those paths and add to the angst for the sake of a happy ending, though...
