It's tragic is what it is. But not quite as weird as "Lust for Life" being used as a theme for a line of cruise ships. WTF? Do their marketing people EVER listen to lyrics?

Ha! Apparently not! Or maybe they assume that not enough people will know them for it to matter--but I'm gonna guess for those who do, it makes a big, jarring difference.

I agree. I can't even stomach some Led Zeppelin anymore from their Cadillac commercials.

Yeah, the worst is bands that are supposed to be anti-commercial. That's just painful on so many different levels.
