Lea almost wants to invite Eridan over to do something- especially since they haven't talked in so long. The problem? Kiiiiind of living in Stein's house. For some mysterious reason, he has a feeling Eridan wouldn't appreciate the scenery there.]

[Lea... Eridan isn't exactly sure how to respond--how to act really. He's already swimming in so many emotions from this--but to see Lea and to remember what lea's once moirail did to him--the emotional train wreck that came with it, the Y shaped scar that still adorns his torso like a macabre decoration. He had no hard feelings for Lea personally--quite the opposite and hearing from him is as much a good thing as it is bad. If only for the reminder.]
... Yeah I searched and I'we talked to the others... No luck. [His voice is weak and shaky, quite obviously just drained. It might not have been apparent--or maybe it was and he just thought he did a good job in acting, but Karkat really total and utter emotional support and without him being here... Without his presence, that stability is gone.]

[That's really all there is to say on the whole thing. You don't comfort someone properly over the phone. It's something that needs to be done face to face.
...And he doesn't think Eridan has anyone else now that Karkat's gone. There's a reason it was so difficult to figure out just who to freakin' call during the whole dissection thing. Realizing there was no one else just made him panic more.
Didn't take a genius, either, to figure out that maybe it had been part of the reason Stein had decided to go through with it on Eridan.]
You're my friend, Eri, alright? Karkat too. It blows majorly to see you like this. I know I ain't gonna be able to make this entirely better, but... Still.
