I try to avoid connecting at O'Hare because of their weather problems. I got stuck there back in 2003. I went to visit Lizz in Portland and on the connecting flight back, they stopped flights leaving O'Hare for a whole day. I arrived around noon and didn't leave until flights resumed at 6am the next day. I slept at the airport...it was messed up yet an interesting experience.
