btw...must say I love the spider....in my country Anansi is a popular story character...deeply rooted in my culture...yaaay for Anansi...and yes...even in those stories he is a trickster or 'tactical genius' as you put it.

i'd do some guessing but like NT591, i like jumping around or rolling on the ground in happiness for guessing right or beating myself for falling into your plot twists and traps...either way I'm a happy reader!!!

Yep...so far he fits with our traditional folklore. If you want, you can look up Anansi in Jamaican folklore. You'll see how much of a trickster he really is.^^
