this really ached in all the right ways. it was so well-written and poignant and wow /fans self/

really, really masterfully done. ugh. it's such a neat little world, I'm so curious about all of its secrets! how did people come to fear the dust? who came up with the silvers? what does the red dust actually do? :o

but in spite of all the questions, that ending gives such a good sense of closure. like, the story ends here, but the world doesn't, if that makes sense. it's easy to imagine the characters continuing to exist outside of what's written here. but I'm kinda rambling here.

anyways, thank you so much for writing and sharing such a lovely fic!
