I know that sequels and remakes are a big thing in Hollywood, but given the quality of some of these sequels and remakes, I can't help but wish it they weren't so big. I am, for example, not sure what to think of Ghostbusters 3. I can't help but compare it to the revival of Indiana Jones. There are lots of people in their twenties and early ( Read more... )

I gotta admit I have more faith in a decent Ghostbusters update than making a geriatric Harrison Ford swing a whip around. And the folks from the Office are apparently involved?

I'm definitely listening, you know?

I hear ya, but Frank Darabont was involved in Indy 4, and it was still pretty bad. Then again, there's no George Lucas to botch up Ghostbusters 3.

I do want to believe that this is going to be good. It's just that the odds seem to be stacked against it.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not betting Ghostbusters 3 will be GOOD. I'm just more confident it will be better than Indy 4. Or at least "ok"
