The maturity of some fanfic writers is quite astonishing. On one side, we have the ones that we never expect to be that age, simply because they are mature for their age. On the other side though, we have the group of fanfic writers that we critiquers have to wonder if they are even old enough to be on the fanfiction site, and then we find out

I think I know the person you are talking about, or likely who said person is. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they had been featured on Pottersues and I'll leave it at that. But then, there are quite a few people who are like that. You would think that once they got listed as a badfic writer on TvTroupes, some of these people, they would get a clue.

I've heard of simular stories. Goodness, some of the people I critiqued ran off to DA, simply to escape the fact that they got critiqued. Actually, one of them I think had the plug pulled on their fanfiction accounts after some of my PMs. Every single fanfic they and their friend wrote was basically a glorified self insert of themselves. That's fine when it is just the two of you, but when you post to public, it is a different matter.

The particular person I am thinking of though, happens to have a problem with recieving critique. She says she can on her profile, but then goes into a major rant due to the fact that it is her story and her interpritation of the characters. When she got posted onto Pottersues, none of us wanted to leave her a review as we knew we simply wouldn't be listened too. Actually, I had avoided giving her any reviews ever, due to the fact I knew her attitude.
