Haha, I remember that scene in the manga! Poor Leon--maybe he should have paid more attention in German class! (Though to be fair, "Count" and "Chinese" and "petshop" probably weren't on the vocabulary list.) ^_^

I loved that scene. Gave me hope that Leon might someday show up in the new series. And, yes, he probably should have paid more attention. But, in his defense, I don't think knowing high school German (or any other language for that matter) is quite the same as hearing it spoken in its native country. ^^'

And even if he understands German in text, pronouncing some of the words is a whole different matter. I haven't figured out how to say some German words without sounding as though I'm trying to cough up a hairball. The language of love, it ain't.
