The sleep cycle of a Two year old....

So I've complained in the past how we fail at getting Nechama to sleep in her bed. The past week she's had the cold from hell, so she's been getting benadryl in the morning and night, when I thought it was really bothering her or she was having nose snot bubbles that remind me of puff the magic dragon

Ha with Eliyahu Dovid I had the opposite rule when he'd stay up until forever. My rule was I wouldn't "parent" (as in play with him, do anything for him except diapers and of course food if I thought it would help him sleep). I did me stuff only and let him play with toys and ignored tantrums unless he wanted a hug (but no pawing at me).

Oh I ignore her, and sit on the computer. But I mean, we're not putting the tv on, we're not taking out more toys, we're not painting or coloring.
