Yun tiv was good. I didn't curse anyone out. I was only tempted to tell my MIL off about 5 times which is REALLY GOOD for me ( Read more... )

I thought you left lj land for good?

I can't complain she did take Nechama each day for a walk/to the park/for her nap for like at least 2 hours each day.

I did shut her up when she kept telling me how PERFECT and advanced Nechama was. I said my concern is if she's SOO PERFECT(developmentally), SHE'LL COME UP ON THE AUTISTIC SPECTRUM

I don't trust my mil for long spurts. But an hour or two to the park, where they're walking/stroller. I don't mind. OTherwise I have them both in my hair and up my ass, and then SOMEONE HAS TO DIE!

Some people just refuse to be happy with anything. If she had nothing to complain about, she'd probably have nothing to say. It must be pretty horrible to have to live in her head. I think I'd just stare at her and think "Wow, sucks to be you!"

Please, she isn't even two. If she ate too much your MIL would be on your case about her overeating too. I'm sure Nechama is fine.

My mother in law also got bent out of shape when I mentioned A WHILE BACK the ped had suggested not giving so much yogurt. Because milk and yogurt is a ton of dairy and fat. And my MIL started on she shouldn't have so much milk, but yogurt was fine.

When she found my daughter taking a yogurt container out of the fridge and mil telling me that SHE LOVES IT and we should buy it for her more often (I think it's cuz it has a cow on it.).

When in truth I'm sure the same rings true for your house, If I buy it she WON'T EAT IT, but if I don't she'll eat it at someone elses house.

Love that logic of your MIL's. Yes, they have done that here too. Refuse to eat something here and then chow down on it at someone else's. Annoying isn't it?

Wasting eggs. LOL. Like kids under two understand about wasting. That's a lesson for a lot later, Grandma. :P

It's so not something I would imagine even crosses her radar. She ONLY shops at Whole Foods and it HAS TO BE ORGANIC.

I don't know how she's related to my husband.
