Ug! And in your own driveway. Anyone would feel vulnerable. Maybe you can get a sign that says you have video surveillance.
I rarely lock my doors because I've lost my clicker so many times I don't want to pay for a new one and juggling keys and children is too hard. Also when it gets humid my driver side door has to be manually locked anyway instead of turning the key in the passangar door. Sometimes I think it is better because then my quarters and car chargers can be stolen without a broken window, but other times I know I am just asking for trouble.
Yeah the driveway thing, is what had me the most spooked.
I could get a sign, or even a fake camera.
That's annoying about the door not locking. I didn't even think to check for my phone charger, I'll look for that later.
My grandfather, who is a bit of a tinker and a mr fixit. A car they had, later gave/sold to my mom, that I was driving. Was an early 90s car, so really pre-alarm era. He found a small round light in the dollar store and affixed it to the dash, so you could turn it and it would have a blinking red light to deter thieves.
