He stood in front of her door. Hesitant to just walk in. Last time he did that, she got pretty angry. It still felt natural for him to just waltz into whatever room she was in. But I guess there weren't kids anymore. It wasn't just both of them in a tiny house anymore.
*knocks on door*
"Katara? Are you in there?"
*pauses*
"Let me in Katara. Please."

"Come in," she called. "The door's unlocked."

"Hey! Mind if I joined you for a bit. I figured it's been a while since we talked, just brother and sister."
*pauses and closes the door*
"I was also wondering how you were doing. I,m still not sure what happening, but something here feels...heavy. I wanted to make sure you weren't torturing yourself over it"

"Yeah, I've felt it too. It's hard to not worry. I've been invited to every other meeting. The waiting is the hard part."
She caught the 'brother and sister' part and looked up.
"Something's bothering you too, isn't it?"

As his hand went to knock on her door (he had to fight back the urge to just go in--what if she were sleeping?), he heard Sokka's voice from within. The tone was worried, and Aang bit his lip. Was his anxiety so important that he would interrupt now...?
With a sigh and a forced smile, the Avatar backed away from the door and slowly walked down the hall. Perhaps he would meditate in the garden, instead....
