you make my brain ache. The matrix postion, the idea that you can't trust anything- its interesting but unliveable, which is probably why you disregard it as stupid- its a bit of a dead end, if the not THE dead end. faith is part of what makes us human i think. we just have to trust, sometimes, that stuff will do what we expect which is science too, oddly enough.
yes we come unstuck, and you have to, as Lucy says, question it all sometimes, but otherwise you'd just sit inna corner. trust me, i know.

Caveat on the above: The Jam Making Principle probably applies.
There's something childishly amusing about the philosophy post ended with that song title.

I'm glad someone noticed/noted that juxaposition.

I thought it useful just to write down how often i end up thinking things and ignoring the fact that I can't trust anything. Although i hvae no definite way out of this one at the moment... well nothing past the same thought as you. ie "there must be a way out".
