Does anyone know anything about viruses? I'm unsure if my comp is fucked and I need to redo something

I have comcast and they gave me a free Norton security suite thing but I also went on Microsoft's website and downloaded a virus scan/scrub that removes any malicious software. I would check that out, just look up Conflicker remover on the site. I would also try going to your system tools in the start up menu and running a defrag and disc clean up because sometimes your comp acts wonky if it's got a corrupt file hiding somewhere

No, you're fine! I have no idea if it's the Vuze at all; it was just something I recently installed. I scanned everything before I opened it, but that was only with McAfee.

I also downloaded the Ad Block, so I guess we'll see. :)

That makes me feel slightly better but my stomach is still in a knot from the slight chance it might be Vuze
