I've been toying with the idea of an Asylum challenge for a while now and it's taken me almost two months to finally create the sims for it, build the asylum, and you know, actually start the challenge. :P Here is the result of my labors! Meet the victims inmates of the Asylum and take a peek inside.
The waiting room.
Right off the waiting area is the kitchen.
After the kitchen is the main area, where the patients are expected to spend most of their time socializing and generally getting better.
Room 1.
The main hallway.
Room 2.
Room 3.
The courtyard.
The locked area of the courtyard where no one is allowed.
And now to the inhabitants...
First is Emilie, who, as a final assignment from her psychiatrist, is in charge of the Asylum and it's seven patients. Once she proves she is indeed ready to be out in the real world again, she can let the other seven patients go. Being heavily medicated and locked in for a while, they don't even realize that Emilie isn't one of them and can leave the Asylum occasionally.
Then we have Nathalie, who came to Brookhaven two years ago with no money, memory, or past. Although she seems quiet, residents of Brookhaven noticed she was a bit disturbed with her love of body art and other miscellaneous things. She was eventually put in for the fact that she firmly believes the voices in her head are real.
Then we have Atlas, who is clearly not a resident of the human race. He seemed well-adjusted to a normal life, but was eventually admitted for his anxiety attacks. He likes to be alone as much as possible.
Next is Eric, who seems sweet and innocent enough but came to the Asylum because he feels the safest in there. He is gay, but as of yet, is refusing to acknowledge his feelings.
Then there is Leon. Not much is really known about him, except for the fact that everyone has always been a bit wary of him. He alternates between isolating himself and losing himself in music. Usually doesn't look as drunk as this. :D
Here is John, a simple man who can be a bit tempermental. Was taken in the Asylum to learn how to manage his anger. While he is much more tame now, he does occasionally have bursts of anger/arguing, which seem to come and go very quickly.
Then we have Charlette. Not much is known of her, but she was put inside because she believes that she has full control of people's lives in a most curious way. She does have a tendency to walk around smiling at everyone and everything.
And finally, there is Jess. Much like Charlette, she thinks she can control lives and so was put in for thinking she can play God. She should probably stay away from chess, as it appears to be shorting out a wire in her brain.
And so there you go! More pics to hopefully come later. :)
