[for Lois] nine yards; they start at ice skating

Dec 07, 2009 23:27

There wasn't anything else he had planned for the day, so going ice skating with Lois was perfectly acceptable. Of course, the fact that it was spending time with Lois didn't decrease his ability to blow off a day of work to have fun. Shrugging into his leather jacket, he moved toward the elevator and down to the parking garage. Selecting a car was ( Read more... )

She wasn't exactly ready by the time he got there. So she buzzes him up even as she's slipping her shirt on, "Come on up, Ollie." Because he was the only person that she'd been expecting. Although he'd gotten there in less time than he'd said. Not that she expected anything less from him.

Looking at herself in the mirror she almost wonders what it is she's doing. It had been a while since she'd spent any sort of time with Ollie. Much less as much time as they'd been talking about. The decisions she'd made would have them running around for miles. Or at least that's what it already felt like. A part of her was nervous not that she should've been. But hey... this was Ollie.

This wasn't going to be easy.

Opening the door, Oliver headed up to Lois' apartment, turning to hit the lock on his car before he got to the elevator. He wasn't really too worried about Lois, they were friends, and he was pretty sure she was well aware of how he felt about her. He also was very aware of his friendship with Clark, no matter how rocky, and wasn't going to just swoop in and charm Lois.

Okay, maybe a tiny bit of charming her.

Opening the door to her place, he hovered in the front area, "Lois? Just, you know, whenever you're ready."

Oh she was more than aware of his feelings for her. Just as she was sure he was well aware of her feelings for him. That hadn't changed. There wasn't a day that had gone by that her feelings for Ollie hadn't surfaced. Or re-surfaced rather.

Pulling her hair up into a ponytail she heads out into the front area grabbing her purse on the way. "Let's go, Ollie." She was ready to get out and have some fun.

Turning easily on heel, he followed Lois out and toward the elevator. His keys spun loosely on his finger, switching into his palm, and then out of it, every so often as they waited.

"So, big ice skating fan?" It was small talk, and he was going to at least start the conversation somewhere, even if the elevator had opted to show up.

She leans back against him and gives a smile. "Well, if you don't want to be stripped down and given a bit of body heat... I guess I can understand that too." Though she might be giving a bit of a pout as well.

But she was serious about the body heat ordeal. He'd have to take his chances there.

There was a bit of a grin that flashed onto his features as he maneuvers them into the building and toward the elevator.

"Hey, no complaints here."

"I would sure hope not. This is a once in a lifetime offer, Mr. Queen."

When they step out of the elevator she takes his hand leading him to her door and once it was unlocked, leads him inside.

Raising an eyebrow in slight concern, he glanced to Lois, "Once in a lifetime? I'm really hoping that's not true, Lo."

Lois shivers slightly, feeling those fingers trail up along her bare skin. Bringing his face down to her, she kisses him good and hard, pulling away only to get her shirt off, throwing it aside.

"Less clothing can be done."

There's a hint of a groan when she takes charge, Oliver always appreciative of the stronger side of Lois, watches as she strips her shirt off, his fingers lightly tracing against her waist. Letting them tuck beneath the closure of her jeans, he tugs up a bit, feeling that button pop open, before he skims his hand around her waist, beneath her jeans, to find purchase just above where her thigh starts.

"I'm glad to hear it, I've always been a fan of the less is more approach. You know, except in business. Then more is more."
