and finally

Wait-listed at Pomona.  I sent the thing back saying I didn't want to remain on the waiting list.  So I guess it's Oberlin or U of A, and by that I mean I guess it's U of A.  Oberlin is expensive, and cold, and very very far from a certain love-of-my-life type someone.

You can always transfer! Are you happy with the U of A choice?

you know...yeah, i really am. there is a lot about u of a i love, and it will be nice being so close. all of a sudden i am not ready to leave my family so far behind. and then, well, there is this boy... which i know in general is a BAD reason but trust me on this one, its important.
so basically, yeah. i am happy.

wait-listed at whitman and sam says I can't go to chapman because I'm too smart, sarcastic, independent, and liberal (he yelled at me in the middle of a huge argument). So I guess it's BU or Roger Williams.

just so you know... i have strong emotions about all of this... i just dont want to voice them because they probably would annoy or stifle you, which is NOT what i want to do.
i'm just saying that so you know i don't just drop off the face of the earth in times like these.

no, i just mean: i'm looking for something sharp to gouge out the eyes of such institutions as pomona, so that their inner blindness manifests itself in their physiognomies.

My sister got into Oberlin, but she decided to do a gap year.

Congrats, though!
