On the site www.putinavotstavku.ru Russian citizens put their names down under an appeal for Putin's resignation titled "Putin must go" (read its English translation). Signatures have been collected since 10 March 2010.

Наверно, это mail.ru? Туда не приходит. Мне на почту Яндекса подтверждение пришло, но надежнее всего будет какой-нибудь зарубежный сервис.

Russia does not know a democratic process and Putin has done more for Russia then anyone since USSR collapsed. I am a Candian who sees Putin as a strong leader for Russia in the future. With all the corruption in Russia business they need Putin to revitalize the manufacturing base in Russia and compete with China and India.

Russia had democratic reforms in the 90s, but they were reversed by Putin. Since mid-2000s Russia is no longer considered to be a democracy.
Under Putin's rule Russia's economy has been only getting more corrupt and dependent on the export of resources.
In summary, Putin is leading Russia in the third world.
