It's 4:30pm and Yazmina has come out from under Annie's Thetick and is awake. The hoperation went fine but Yaz hasn't eaten or pooped yet. Mummy has to phone Uncle Jason again at 5 to see if anything has happened then they have to decide whether it's okay for us to come home or whether Yaz needs to stay overnight.

It's still very early but Uncle Jason won't let her leave until he's confident she's OK and it wouldn't be unusual for her to have to stay overnight. Mum's toured all their facilities - they have an overnight nurse on duty and the recovery units are covered by CCTV for careful monitoring. Try not to worry, Jasper - and go with her to collect her when she returns home (unless you're with her already. If she does stay overnight and is settled, you might want to join her.

Mum did work experience there for 2 weeks when she was a kit so she knows her way around the v-e-t-s.

I'm in the v-e-t-s with her...mummy wanted to make sure we both had the same smells and experiences (and got our claws cut). So I'm stuck here as well! If Yaz has to stay overnight then I will be there to keep her company.

I can't keep still Jasper!!! All possible body parts are still crossed, and will continue to be buntil I hear she's fine! It's making nomming hard! I haven't nommed anything in like an hour, waiting for news. Hugs and lots of vibes!

Yaz is fine but still no poop yet! She's munching on the last of our mint and we're settling down for our first ever night separate.
