Cool list! Unfortunately, I'm not very down with modern music; I love the eighties like no tomorrow! :D

I'll have to listen to that last one. I love how Sufjan is quite devoted in his way, but doesn't hold back in his lyrics. I have to admit, I love his 'I'm not fucking around' refrain in I Want to Be Well. :)

Thanks! I hope you find something on here that you like! I also love 80's music :-) A lot of the stuff I've been listening to for the past year has a distinctive 80's nostalgia about it--you might want to check out Chvrches, Twin Shadow, and Haim if you're looking for something new but with a nostalgic feel to it :-)

Good grief--Sufjan just kills me. I think it's his no-bullshit approach to everything, paired with a very careful narrative--both lyrically AND instrumentally that just makes me sit back in awe. He's brilliant.
