Quick report on my first time trying Ramune. Japanese, then English afterwards

よかったですね！私にとってラムネは本当に甘すぎるです。ずっと前、飲んでみて、好きじゃなかったですけど、今年、ぎりの母とぎりの姉は私に一本を買ってくれて、飲まなくちゃいけませんでした。やっぱりまだ好きじゃなかったけど、開ける時は楽しかったです。

How exciting! To me, ramune is way to sweet. I tried it a long time ago, and didn't like it. This year, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law bought one for me, and I had to drink it (respectfully). Just as before, I didn't like it, but opening it was very fun.

私は、甘い物が好きです。でも、アメリカのソダの瓶は大きすぎます。小さいラムネがいいです。

I like sweet things. American soda bottles are way too big, though. The little Ramune is nice.

あ、そうですね！日本の品物のサイズのほうが好きです。アメリカのソダを飲むと、半分ぐらいだけ飲めます。

That's so true! I prefer the sizes of products in Japan. When I drink soda from America, I can only finish half of a can.
