It's primarily videogames out on the show floor but Tabletop stuff had about 1/4 presence in terms of square footage and panel programming. Plenty of game companies were holding demo sessions and of course selling games. One table was completely devoted to awesome dice - they had everything from basic to dice inscribed with elvish script!

Sounds like and looks like a great con! It's nice that the late start didn't overall dampen your experience! The Pokemon gym leader battles are really cool. It's like a live action RPG. (^^)

I was really impressed at the organization and "spirit" put into the League. So many people dedicated to just having fun, really brings a tear to the eye.

Man, I would have loved that Pokemon gym leader thing as a kid. (Didn't they used to have a Toysrus thing like that? I wasn't allowed to go, though.) Was it cards or the cartridge games? I've been thinking about maybe trying the latter again, but I haven't played anything since crystal.

Glad to hear you had a good time--hopefully next year (if you go) the travel arrangements will be as chronologically synchronized as initially anticipated.
