Is today's hectic lifestyle making you tense and impatient?

I've been feeling drained and terrible for the last fews weeks. Although I tend to think of it as a fictional excuse sometimes, but Seasonal Affective Disorder might be a part of it, or you know, stress stuff. Either way, I think I need to kind of take charge of it. It's a little ridiculous that I am twenty years old and exhausted all the time. I ( Read more... )

I'm 21 and exhausted all the time, and my life is hardly demanding. I think we are largely in the same boat, or at least pretty close. I don't get any exercise. In my free time, I just sit at my computer all day. And pretty much everything you said about mental health? That's me to a 't'. I've not read anything on purpose in the longest time, and my instruments have been grossly neglected. So, don't feel too bad, my friend. It must be a rough patch we twenty-some year-olds go through. I don't know about you, but it makes me feel a little better to know that I'm not the only one feeling this way.

Your goals are admirable. I think I'll have to follow suit. Road to Less Fail: here I come!

My theory is that once I work on my physical issues, that will, I dunno, fix my hermones or whatever so I won't feel so bleh all the time. I mena, I got sick like, the day after I posted this, so I wasn't staying up to task, but today marks my second day in a row going to the gym, and I plan on going tomorrow too. They say it takes 28 days to form a habit, so I'm going to try doing almost a month EVERY day. And actually, I might be able to kill a few birds with one stone, since I basically either read or listen to podcasts when I go to the gym anyway. I figure talking about my goals is going to make it a bit easier to stick to them.
