Glad to see you around! I can sympathise completely with the brain atrophy - it happens to me pretty much every summer. Two months away from the books, and I'm almost back to square one. Very annoying.
*waves* Good to see you too. I really mustn't let my work/study related exhaustipation keep me away from posting for so long. You seem to juggle an incredible amount of things and still find time to post and make downloads and icons etc. so I don't think you need to worry about the brain atrophy!
Ooh, speaking of which I've just seen your FNP icons, I might have to snag a couple of them. Master in the bedroom indeed!
I don't actually have a full-time work schedule next to my studying, though - the studying is my work (apart from the TA gig, and that's only one day a week), which makes it a lot easier to handle. And as busy as I am during the school year, it only takes a few weeks of not studying for my brain to atrophy. Even after only one week's break I'll be struggling to regain focus. It's really quite vexing, though I know why it's happening, and how to get through it by now.
David referring to himself as The Master in the bedroom really gave me all sorts of bad ideas, and that skit of him being tied to a bed really didn't help. He certainly knows how to play into the fangirl fantasies - and yet he seems adorably clueless as to why anyone would fancy him. I can't figure out how much of that cluelessness is actually true, or if it's just a facade he puts up to be able to deal with it without going insane.
Struggling for focus is definitely the problem - I get so frustrated with how long I can sit there running my hands through my hair and groaning and making such a bloody meal of it. When if I just gone on with it and wrote something, I'd be free a lot sooner to go off and enjoy myself.
As for David - I get the feeling the cluelessness is more of a facade - but a charmingly applied one! I wonder how much actual stalking/paparazzi attention he gets? (you probably know better than me!) Although I don't get the impression from the press over here that it's too bad. He's seemed surprisingly unmolested in that supermarket, unless they edited all that out.

Anyway.....you and I have sooooooooo gotta hook it up again for a giggle and a beer some time soon. I don't think you've even seen Hal yet and I've had him since last August. I'll come pick you up and we can head out somewhere for a burn.

Oh and I watched the 2nd half of Kate and Leopold tonight. Hugh Jackman was adorable!
